CaterRology is an all event caterer. Whether your event is a corporate luncheon, real estate open house, chamber mixer, wedding rehearsal dinner or reception, bridal or baby shower, social, private or charity events for 10 to 200 people, CaterRology will provide you with exceptional food and exempliary service. All catering clients receive customized menus made to best compliment their specific event, taste, and/or dietary need. We offer a variety of services for a variety of events, including interactive stations and our only limit is your imagination!

We also offer a meal prep service for individual and family size meals that can be chosen from bi- weekly menu, which is posted on Instagram, Facebook, and caterrology.com each Monday morning, with curbside pickup or delivery options. There is no fee for delivery in Burnet, but a $15 minimum is required; outside of Burnet requires a $30 minimum, as well as travel fee that varies.   The meal prep menu orders received by 11 a.m. are available for same day pick up or delivery by 6 p.m., and orders placed after 11 a.m. will be available the following day pick up or delivery.  All CaterRology’s menus are prepared using fresh ingredients, locally sourced as often as possible, all having no additives, antibiotics, preservatives, or containing anything artificial or processed. 

          

I grew up in Burnet, Texas, but left the Summer after graduation from BHS to attend Johnson & Wales University at Charleston, S.C., and Providence, R.I., where I was trained in Classical French Cuisine. After graduating with an AOS Degree in Culinary Arts in 1994, I moved back to Texas and began working at Barton Creek Country Club Lakeside. That was a great opportunity and led to even better ones in Austin, including Lead Line Cook at the Bitter End Bistro and Brewery, Sous Chef of the Granite Cafe, and then P.M. Sous Chef of the Driskill Hotel. In 1999 I moved back to the Burnet area and assisted in the building, opening and operation of Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park and Lodge on Lake Buchanan, as Executive Chef. We had grand buffets, and exceptional dinner and catering menus.  Following that I assisted in the opening and operation of The Wild Horse Grille in Marble Falls, (which was an upscale steakhouse on Main St.) where I revised their original dinner menu and created nightly specials while also serving in the front of the house. After leaving the Wild Horse, I was chosen to assist in the opening and operation of Backstage Steakhouse in Spicewood, as Chef Raymond Tatum’s Sous Chef. I went on later to have my first catering business in 2006, His and Herbs Gourmet to Go, which won Best Caterer in 2008, and then owned a Food Truck, the Baconette, which won First Place in the Grilled Cheese Sandwich division of the Lone Star BBQ Society’s State Championship in 2016, with a prize of $700! In 2015 I became a full time Personal Chef and Assistant, of which I thoroughly enjoyed, but the desire to cater again just kept growing, so at the urging of my wonderful family, I created CaterRology. We began the kitchen build in October of 2019, and by February 2020 I was ready to open, just in time for Covid-19 to hit. Well…I couldn’t let that get the better of me, so I shifted gears and started doing Meal Prep Kits, which has been a real blessing, for us all! I have done one wedding since all our lives changed, and it turned out beautifully! The bride left a review on Facebook, check it, as well as all the others out!
